Thank you for visiting the Teaching, Learning, and Counseling Consortium website. Here at the TLC, we have undertaken the innovative and exciting mission of fusing instructional training with community-based services with the aim of supporting our local community and simultaneously generating exceptional educators and mental health providers who will serve as agents of change in our schools and mental health facilities. We hope that this website gives you a sense of the passion, enthusiasm and commitment we have towards our mission and we welcome you to visit us, in person, at the Teaching, Learning and Counseling Consortium on the CSUN campus.
Mission Statement:
With the transdisciplinary model as its guide, the TLC provides innovative clinical training for educators and mental health professionals while providing supportive community-based services to families and individuals using an integrated and transformative approach to student/family/client learning and personal wellness.
What is the TLC?
The TLC is comprised of a combination of five clinics and centers that work together to support the success of families, clients, and individuals by engaging in active learning opportunities in assessing, diagnosing and prescribing strategies of learning.
