The Clubs & Organizations Awards Ceremony was held on April 23, 2008 in the Grand Salon. It was a great success! Over 120 people attended and over 25 awards were given out.

Matador Boxing Team
Winner of the Outstanding New Club Award
The Matador Boxing Team is a newly chartered CSUN organization whose presence on campus has been greatly amplified through its dedication to diversity, commitment to supporting other organizations, diligent leadership, and comprehensive events. They strive to diversify their members and the CSUN community while building cohesiveness within the team members themselves by holding events such as salsa dancing and museum trips on a regular basis, which all CSUN students are welcome to join. Members of the Matador Boxing Team are always ready to lend a hand in anything that creates a wider, more diverse, and socially active community here at CSUN.
