It is my pleasure to present the California
State University, Northridge Graphic Standards
Manual for 2008–2009. In addition to the
official Word Mark, CSUN Mark, Northridge
“N,” State Seal and Mascot.
This manual provides guidelines to ensure
that the excellence of our institution is
reflected in all forms of communication.
I ask each of you to work within these guidelines to ensure the consistency and power of our communications. The responsibility for implementing these standards rests with University Advancement’s Office of Public Relations and Strategic Communications.
The University’s graphic identity symbolizes the ideals of the communities we serve, and of the Valley in which we make our home. It is a visual shorthand illustrating our now 50-year commitment to making this region a better place to live. Our identity underscores this institution as an indispensable resource for cultural, social and intellectual strength, and as a driving force for economic vitality in the region.
Thank you,
