James Decker (Social Work) is the principal investigator for two grants starting in July 2008 through June 2009. The first, an award for $967, 405, was received from CalSWEC to support 13 students with stipends for $18,500, and tuition and fees for eight additional students in the three-year part-time MSW program to work in child welfare in California. The second, an award for $456,709, was received from the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services Inter-University Consortium Training Services (IUC) to train eight MSW students to work in child welfare in the County of Los Angeles.
